Introduction
PAT Testing (Portable Appliance Testing) is a vital safety check for electrical appliances, helping to ensure they are safe to use and comply with regulations. Our service includes a thorough inspection and testing of your portable electrical equipment to identify any potential faults or hazards. By regularly testing your appliances, you can reduce the risk of electrical accidents, help safeguard your workplace, and meet requirements for health and safety. Whether you're a business, landlord, or organization, we help you maintain a safe environment with our PAT testing services.

Service
We carry out the following:

1. Visual Inspection: The appliance, plug, and cable are inspected for visible signs of damage, wear, or defects.

2. Electrical Tests: Specialized testing equipment checks the appliance's earthing, insulation resistance, and other safety aspects to ensure it's functioning properly and safely.

3. Labelling: If the appliance passes, a sticker is applied to indicate the date of testing. If it fails, it is marked as unsafe for use.

After the PAT test, you will be provided with:

4. Certificate and Detailed Report: Listing each appliance tested, its result (pass or fail), and any observations or defects.

The service is limited to the appliances presented at the time of inspection. Any additional or missed appliances that were not tested are outside the scope of this service.
2. Compliance: While we carry out tests to the best of our ability and in accordance with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, passing a PAT test does not guarantee the future safety of an appliance. The responsibility for ongoing maintenance, safe usage, and any required repairs of electrical equipment remains with the client.
3. Damaged or Faulty Equipment: We are not liable for any pre-existing faults or damage discovered during testing. If any appliance is found to be damaged or dangerous, it will be marked as failed, and it is the client's responsibility to repair or remove it from service.
4. Liability: Our PAT testing service is designed to identify defects in appliances at the time of testing only. We shall not be held liable for any damage, injury, or loss caused by the use of any appliance tested, either before or after the test, unless caused by our proven negligence.
5. Recommendations: Any recommendations made during or after testing regarding the suitability of equipment for continued use are advisory only. The final decision on whether to continue using, repair, or replace equipment remains with the client.
6. Exclusions: PAT testing does not cover the full electrical system or fixed wiring in the premises. This service is specifically for portable electrical appliances only.
